ABOTA
At the recent American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) meeting, Arthur Fournier, MD gave a presentation to the the Board about his organization, Project Medishare.
Dr. Barth Green and Dr. Arthur Fournier founded Project Medishare for Haiti, Inc. in 1994 to assess the health care situation in Haiti and explore ways in which they could help improve the health conditions of the people in Haiti. ABOTA presented Dr. Fournier with a check for over $20,000 from its members.

ABOTA also welcomed Angel A. Aloma, Executive Director of Food for the Poor, to speak about the needs of the poorest of the poor whom they serve in 17 countries and what can be accomplished with the help of their dedicated donors. The desperate situation in Haiti was at the forefront of this presentation. Food for the Poor is the largest international relief and development charity in the United States. ABOTA presented Food for the Poor with a check for over $16,000 from its members.
