Anthony DiMatteo
Anthony DiMatteo is a partner with Gaebe, Mullen, Antonelli & DiMatteo. He began his litigation career with the United States Navy as a Lieutenant with the Judge Advocate General. During his tenure with the JAG, he received distinction for having the highest success percentage in over 50 felony jury trials and over 100 administrative hearings. |

Mr. DiMatteo has been with the firm since 1987, and heads the firm’s West Palm Beach office where he concentrates his practice in the defense of insurance third party claims as well as first party lawsuits against insurance carriers. He has tried cases involving products liability, negligent security, allegations of civil rights violations, wrongful death claims, construction defects, and has also tried and been involved in first party litigation involving complex property damage including a number of claims relating to fire/arson.
Mr. DiMatteo is involved at both the trial and appellate levels, and has argued cases before appellate courts and several districts within Florida as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta.
He is admitted to practice in all Florida State and Federal Courts including the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar, District of Columbia Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. DiMatteo has been involved in establishing a local defense bar within Palm Beach County, and has held several chairperson positions. Mr. DiMatteo is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
