Maximo A. Santiago

Maximo Santiago, an associate, primarily focuses in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, construction liability, disability liability, general personal injury defense, and the defense of sexual abuse and child abuse cases. Mr. Santiago’s bilingual capabilities allow him to easily work with both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking clients.

During law school, Mr. Santiago participated in the University of Miami’s respected litigation programs, including the Moot Court competition. He was awarded the Vasquez Scholarship for his excellence in litigation. Mr. Santiago served as a Citations Editor for the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. He also had the privilege of interning for United States Magistrate Judge Stephen T. Brown and for the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Santiago is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Coral Gables Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Dade County Defense Bar Association.
