  • James Robertson, III

    James S. Robertson, III, received his law degree from the University of Miami where he was an editor of the University of Miami International Law Journal. After graduating from law school, Mr. Robertson served as a law clerk to the Honorable William M. Hoeveler, U.S. District Court, and Southern District of Florida. He is co-author of “Preparing a Case for Trial in Federal Court,” James Publishing, Inc. (1994).

    Mr. Robertson has forty years of experience in civil litigation in state and federal court. He concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death and commercial litigation with a focus on automobile accidents, products liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, aviation, maritime law and complex commercial cases. He has helped create new law in the maritime field.

    He also has significant experience in the area of internet law. He has successfully handled cybersquatting and trademark cases including WIPO/NAF arbitration, Uniform Domain Name Disputes (UDRP) and Anti-Cybersquatting Act litigation in Federal Court.
