Michael A. Mullen
Michael Mullen has been the managing partner of the firm since 1990. Mr. Mullen has earned a reputation as a successful trial lawyer throughout the state and has tried more than 100 cases. He was instrumental in expanding the firm's base practice into the west coast of Florida, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties; and the opening of the West Palm Beach office to service clients' needs more expeditiously and cost effectively.

Mr. Mullen has concentrated his practice in the fields of products liability, professional liability, including medical malpractice, attorney malpractice and accountant malpractice, and medical device litigation. As panel counsel for several commercial carriers, his practice also includes child abuse and sexual abuse defense, nursing home litigation, premises liability, negligent security, construction accidents, construction defects, bad faith, and more recently, intellectual property, EEOC, ADA, civil rights and disability law cases. Mr. Mullen has been involved in handling not only the defense of these large-exposure cases, but also insurance coverage issues as they have related to primary, excess and re-insurance layers of coverage.
Mr. Mullen is admitted to practice in all Florida state and federal courts including the United States Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Coral Gables Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, the Miami-Dade County Justice Association, the American Society of Law & Medicine and the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society. He is an Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates, a Fellow of the Litigation Council of America, Order of Justitia, and a Member of the Council on Litigation Management. Mr. Mullen is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and was selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of Super Lawyers, The Annual List of the Top Attorneys in Florida.
