Megan O. Hamilton

Megan Hamilton, an associate, handles a variety of cases, including first party property defense, premises liability, and personal injury.  In her first-party work, Ms. Hamilton assists insurers in investigating claims, determining coverage and minimizing exposure.   Ms. Hamilton graduated from Tulane University with a BA in Political Science.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Hamilton worked for a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C., doing citizen engagement work, including planning and organizing large-scale town hall meetings.

While in law school, Ms. Hamilton gained valuable practical experience clerking for several firms in Miami.  She participated in the Litigation Skills program at the University of Miami and interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office. 

Ms. Hamilton is involved with the University of Miami Alumni Association and is a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Dade County Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as Louisiana state courts.  She is a member of the Florida Bar.
